It is time to start the practice.
You are standing.
Feet are shoulder-width apart.
Palms are open, facing your thighs.
Fingers are naturally separated.
You are looking ahead: Not looking at anything in particular, but do not be absent-minded either.
You are going to start your Tai Chi.
There must be a motivation behind that decision, for once there is motivation, the eyes start to shine.
The apex of your head will rise : Your posture will be lifted because of an invisible thread pulling the apex upwards.
It will be a happy lift.
Allow the blood and the energy pushing that blood (Qi) to flow freely. For that to happen, there must be no tension. In order to have no tension, one practices Tai Chi.
Begin.
